Keep Playing Safe Sports

And when you are playing, make sure you listen to your body and don’t push yourself too hard.

If you physically can’t play sports anymore, or you’re just not interested in getting this kind of physical activity on a regular basis, you can still feel like you’re a part of the sporting world by going to sporting events.

While you can always watch sports on TV at home, going to live sporting events just has a different feel to it. And because there are always ways for those with mobility issues to still safely get to these events and have a safe seat, there’s nothing stopping you from getting tickets and attending a live sporting event.

Participate In Fantasy Leagues

For those who want to take a bit of a more active role in the outcome of the sports that they want, you can always choose to participate in a fantasy sports league for the type of sports that you’re most interested in.

If you know people near you who already do this, consider asking if you can join. Or, if you don’t already have an in with a current fantasy sports league, you can make your own either virtually or in-person. Not only will this help you keep up with the sports you love, but it can also help you develop relationships with others who love those sports, too.
